Jacob is a seasoned musician and educator with a passion for fostering confidence and creativity in his students. Since 2017, he has been sharing his expertise in guitar and ukulele, teaching every level from beginner to advanced. With roots in Memphis, Jacob co-founded two bands, including Petrichor, which has been performing for a decade and often supports charitable causes.
Jacob prioritizes creating a safe and respectful environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities in his teaching approach. He believes that success in music education is measured by the growth in a student's confidence and enthusiasm for learning. Jacob's musical versatility allows him to teach various genres, with a special love for classic rock, alternative, modern rock, and modern indie on both the guitar and ukulele respectively.
