Kristen Richard is a freelance musician and certified music educator. Ms. Richard graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Music Education. She has taught in Gwinnett County at Harris Elementary for the last 6 years. Ms. Richard teaches a wide range of instruments including, piano, voice, clarinet, trumpet, lower brass and more. Ms. Richard also teaches general music for younger children. These classes help prepare 3 to 6 year old’s for private lessons by laying a foundation of musical skills including rhythm, melody harmony and more. Ms. Richard has conducted a variety of ensembles including choirs and musical and instrumental groups for students of all ages. Her experience in performance includes a variety of ensembles from jazz big bands to orchestras, to musicals and more.
