Nydia Kelly has a BA in music performance from the Berklee College of Music in Boston Ma. She is an accomplished musician and composer who has had the pleasure of teaching students of all ages and skill levels. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Nydia started playing piano when she was just 3 years old. At 14, she also started playing guitar. She then went on to learn mallet and aux percussion in high school. Nydia began performing at local venues while she was a student at Berklee and continues to perform at local venues here in GA. Some of her venue performances include Sweetwater, Center Stage, Avondale Theatre, Tavern on Main, Smith’s Olde Bar, as well as numerous private events. Nydia is passionate about teaching quality musical knowledge and skills to every student by providing effective methods in analyzing and comprehending musical structure and techniques, so students may progress in the most efficient and fun way possible. Nydia believes music is a form of language in which anyone can achieve fluency.
