Rebecca, a Mezzo Soprano, earned her Bachelor's degree from Westminster Choir College in Vocal Performance. She has performed in such venues as The Kimmel Center, Lincoln Center (Alice Tully Hall and David Geffin Hall), The National Cathedral in Washington D.C., St. Stephen's House in Oxford, UK, The Royal Hampton Palace in Hampton, UK, and Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France under the baton of various world renowned conductors including Gary Wedow, Jaap van Zweden, and Yannick Nézet-Séguin. She has performed locally with Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra, Appassionato Choir, Lanier Chamber Singers, and at Bear on the Square Music Festival in Dahlonega. Her recording credits include two CDs with the Westminster Williamson Voices, "Ola Gjeilo: Sunrise Mass" and "Aurora". At Westminster, she made her operatic debut as "Suor Infermeria" in Puccini's Suor Angelica at just twenty years old. She has since gone on to perform in Ravel's L'enfant et les sortilèges, and Strauss II's Die Fledermaus . Ms. Smith currently teaches voice and piano at Gwinnett School of Music in Lilburn.
