Ric Seymour has a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Florida. He was the band leader, singer and lead guitarist for the band Hijinx for 12 years touring extensively throughout the Southeast. In 1992 Ric joined Capricorn/Epic recording artist Wet Willie as their guitarist and has remained with the band to the present day. Ric Seymour is a Georgia Music Hall of Fame inductee and an Alabama Music Hall of Fame inductee for his work with Wet Willie. He is an accomplished player of not only guitar and bass, but woodwinds as well, saxophone is his degreed instrument. Ric has taught for the last 20 years over 400 students many of whom have become professional working musicians. Ric says “I truly enjoy the teaching process”.
