Sebastian received his Bachelors degree in Music Education from Georgia State University’s School of Music, with a concentration in Violin Performance. He is currently working on his Masters degree at the University of Georgia and has had the privilege of receiving training from the violin studios of Dr. John T. Maclean, Dr. Christos Galileas, and Kenny Lambert.
Sebastian’s passion for music started at the age of two when he learned to sing entire compositions of both sacred and folk genres. Born in the small village of Chirakkadavu, India, Sebastian was heavily influenced by his musical family. His father, a professional violinist, inspired Sebastian to discover his performance skills on the violin at the age of 10. Today Sebastian performs with various Atlanta area choirs, symphony orchestras, and instrumental ensembles. He also enjoys collaborating with artists in all types of genres, especially Jazz Violin. Sebastian has a real passion for teaching and for a progressive future in Music Education. His teaching experience includes 11 years of running his own private violin studio, directing various student ensembles including the Sebastian Music Ensemble and the Gwinnett School of Music Concert Orchestra (GSMCO), and leading the Music Ministry for the Teen Choir of Saint Alphonsa Catholic Church. He was co-teaching the largest orchestra program in the State of Georgia at Richard Hull Middle School alongside Amanda McClellan for two years. Most recently, Sebastian founded two music programs including Carrsville Elementary and Good Shepherd Episcopal School in the state of Virginia.
Inspired by the most influential violin teacher of the Twentieth Century, Ivan Galamian, Sebastian’s goal is to motivate and assist his students in achieving their every musical ambition in a way that relates to them personally.
