Jordan is a passionate and experienced vocal instructor, specializing in various genres such as gospel, classical, R&B, and soul. She was a Vocal Performance major from Piedmont University in 2017 and earned an Associates of Applied Science in Audio from the SAE Institute in 2020.
Throughout her educational journey, Jordan has consistently demonstrated excellence and leadership. She received the Director's Award from Windsor First High School in 2017 and served as the President of the Tri-M Music Society from 2015 to 2017. Her leadership abilities were recognized with an Outstanding Leadership award in 2016. Jordan's musical involvement spans a diverse range of activities, including participation in the Rise Coral Women's Chorus, playing piano and singing in the Modern Band, contributing as a trumpeter in the Jazz Band, and being part of the Advanced Band and Marching Band (trumpet and percussion).
In her teaching approach, Jordan prioritizes tailoring lessons to students' interests while emphasizing healthy vocal techniques and overall skill enhancement. She firmly believes in the potential of every student, encouraging them to realize that dedication and time can lead to achieving any musical goal. Jordan's teaching philosophy centers around making the learning process enjoyable and fun.
Recognizing the importance of parental involvement, Jordan encourages parents to support their children by helping them with homework and assignments. She emphasizes the value of active listening and recommends parents engage in the learning process by sitting down with their child and discussing what they've learned. Jordan understands that while she can provide lessons, true understanding and progress come from dedicated practice.
